Position Overview
We are excited to invite applications for enthusiastic and self-driven Band 5 or Band 6 Physiotherapists aiming to enhance their expertise in Children’s Physiotherapy. This role involves working within a collaborative and supportive Children’s Therapy Team in South Warwickshire, with two vacancies available across various locations including the North, South, and East of Warwickshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing specialized physiotherapy assessments and treatments for children with diverse needs across clinics, community environments, and special schools, utilizing both face-to-face and virtual platforms.
- Maintaining an autonomous caseload with responsibility for complex patient assessments and interventions.
- Supporting junior Physiotherapy staff, including Technical Instructors, and mentoring students during their clinical placements.
- Contributing to physiotherapy services in special educational settings and engaging in training and education of junior staff and healthcare professionals.
Experience and Development
Previous experience in pediatric physiotherapy is preferred but not mandatory.
The role offers structured Personal Development Reviews and Clinical Supervision, with a strong emphasis on ongoing professional development through in-service training opportunities.
The initial banding (Band 5 or Band 6) depends on the candidate’s experience and competencies, with commitment to support training for progression to a Band 6 level.
