Role summary
This position is responsible for coordinating a cluster of branches and ensuring that each one operates efficiently, performs well on financial targets, and stays aligned with regional priorities. The role serves as the link between senior regional leadership and individual branch managers.
Core responsibilities
- Expand the gold loan business by driving customer acquisition on a daily basis and supporting the takeover of loan accounts from competing lenders.
- Monitor and reduce non-performing assets by guiding teams on overdue collection efforts and closure of past-due accounts.
- Lead, coach, and develop branch-level teams while tracking performance indicators and resolving field-level operational issues.
- Promote additional Muthoot Group offerings across branches to help meet overall business objectives.
- Oversee loan renewals so existing customers complete renewals before accounts become overdue.
Education and experience
A graduate degree is mandatory. Candidates with an MBA or PGDBM will be preferred. The expected background is typically 7 to 10 years in team leadership and direct sales, especially within banking or gold loan businesses.
