About the Role
Pullman Hotels & Resorts is looking for a Commis I for the cold kitchen team in Doha. In this position, you will help prepare and present chilled food items while supporting smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare mise en place and help with the presentation of salads, starters, dressings, and other cold platters.
- Support the production of buffet displays and cold dishes for à la carte service.
- Follow portioning, recipe, quality, and plating standards for cold menu items.
- Keep ingredients fresh and stored correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation that follows HACCP guidelines and local regulations.
- Assist senior chefs with daily kitchen tasks and help maintain an efficient workflow.
- Check and note the temperatures of refrigerators and cold storage areas.
- Track stock levels and inform senior chefs when supplies run low.
- Observe all hygiene, sanitation, and food-safety requirements.
- Work closely with other kitchen sections during service.
Requirements
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role or kitchen section, ideally in a hotel or restaurant.
- Good understanding of basic cooking methods and food safety practices.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and accurately follow directions.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and time-management abilities.
- Genuine interest in culinary excellence and ongoing learning.
- Good people skills and a service-oriented mindset.
