Position
This opportunity is for Physics PhD experts with specializations in Statistical Mechanics, Condensed Matter Physics, or Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics.
Compensation and work setup
The role is contract-based, fully remote, and pays between $70 and $90 per hour.
What you will do
- Assess advanced physics problems that help guide AI model training and improvement.
- Design difficult, high-quality datasets by writing problems in statistical mechanics, condensed matter physics, or atomic, molecular, and optical physics.
- Partner with AI research teams to strengthen output quality and support better data creation.
- Operate independently on an asynchronous schedule while meeting weekly deliverables with accuracy and care.
- Contribute subject-matter expertise that helps push forward AI development in physics.
Required qualifications
- A PhD in Physics with a focus on Statistical Mechanics, Condensed Matter Physics, or Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics.
- A graduate degree earned from the US, UK, Canada, or Western Europe.
- Strong focus on precision and detail.
- Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
- Strong command of English.
Start date and hiring process
