Role overview

This position is for a Construction Quality Inspector working across the Swords head office and project sites throughout Dublin. The employer delivers residential and civil works, including schools, education, medical, commercial, sports, and hospitality projects. A background in civil or residential engineering is preferred.

Core responsibilities

Perform routine checks on site to confirm work is meeting the expected quality level.
Review finished work and flag defects or areas that need correction.
Verify that construction activity follows building rules, project requirements, and health and safety obligations.
Document inspection results and produce clear quality-related reports.
Coordinate with site managers, subcontractors, and project teams to address quality concerns.
Track the standard of workmanship and materials used at each stage of the build.
Ensure outstanding defects are closed out within the agreed timeframes.
Contribute to project completion by helping secure quality compliance ahead of handover.

Experience and profile

The preferred candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a comparable role in civil or residential construction.

Additional information

This role is based in Swords with travel required to construction sites in Dublin.
