Role Overview
This hybrid full-time position, primarily based in Los Angeles with flexible remote work options, combines responsibilities as both a personal assistant and content creator for the HěDwaters podcast and brand. The organization values collaborative efforts, curiosity, and initiative in problem-solving. Team members are encouraged to propose ideas, hone new skills, and engage in various content and administrative activities while taking ownership and contributing to evolving workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and managing digital content across multiple channels.
- Plan and organize content calendars, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support administrative tasks related to ongoing projects, such as coordinating files and documentation.
- Draft and edit social media posts, blog articles, and short-form video content.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external collaborators.
- Monitor engagement metrics and keep records well-organized.
- Contribute creative ideas aimed at enhancing content quality and workflow efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient in content creation including writing, editing, and conceptualizing ideas for digital platforms.
- Experience or capability in planning, scheduling content, and maintaining task calendars.
- Familiarity with digital tools such as word processors, spreadsheets, project management software, and social media platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities paired with a cooperative attitude.
- Availability to work on-site regularly in Los Angeles, with some flexibility for remote work.
- Self-driven, dependable, receptive to feedback, and eager to learn new skills and processes.
- Preferred: prior experience in content creation, administrative support, or media fields, and education in communications, marketing, media, or related disciplines is advantageous though not mandatory.
