Corporate Credit Analyst

Job Overview

As a Corporate Credit Analyst at Bank of China in Singapore, you will be responsible for evaluating creditworthiness of corporate clients, ensuring compliance with banking policies and regulations, identifying key risk factors, and recommending risk mitigation strategies. You will play a vital role in assessing overall group credit risk and determining client credit ratings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive credit analysis for corporate customers, reviewing compliance with regulations and bank policies.
• Identify main risk points and develop appropriate risk control measures.
• Provide evaluations for credit files submitted to the pre-trial committee and carry out related secretarial duties.
• Conduct in-depth industry research related to your designated sectors and update approval guidelines accordingly.
• Monitor commitment matters regularly and issue effective risk control recommendations for clients showing early warning signs.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the department.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, accountancy, or related fields.
• Proficient in analyzing financial statements and familiar with bank credit facilities.
• Minimum of three years' relevant experience, preferably with exposure to corporate credit analysis.
• Holding professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or ACCA is advantageous.
• Strong skills in financial and credit risk analysis and management.
• Excellent communication abilities, a strong sense of responsibility, and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese, enabling effective liaison with Chinese counterparts at Head Office.
• Ability to handle work pressure and multitasking while understanding financing product review requirements.
• Experience in Commodity Finance and Trade Finance is a plus.
