Role Overview

As a Creative Director in Creative Publishing for Netflix Games, you will be the visionary leader ensuring high creative standards for our game portfolio. Your role includes guiding projects from concept stages through production, launch, and ongoing live operations. You'll nurture a culture that encourages bold experimentation and exceptional craftsmanship to deliver memorable gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehend and integrate the unique strengths of the Netflix Games platform to create a unified vision for commercially successful games.
• Work closely with development teams to evolve concepts into prototypes that reinforce vision and direction.
• Drive scaling of creative process from inception through full production and live deployment.
• Set clear creative objectives, offer and solicit constructive feedback, and elevate team contributions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years in game design, including senior leadership roles such as Creative or Game Director.
• Proven success collaborating with distributed or external teams.
• Strong ability to provide impactful feedback influencing creative direction without relying on hierarchical power.
• Deep understanding of game development lifecycle from concept through live service, and ability to customize creative input accordingly.
• Track record managing complex cross-functional projects delivering excellence across design, art, audio, narrative, and other creative areas.
• Experience with Live Service models and retention-driven design principles.
• Familiarity with building and implementing internal creative tools and processes.
• Bonus points for experience with sports/team-play games and licensed IP projects.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers an annual salary ranging from $260,000 to $480,000, varying by location and individual qualifications. Netflix does not provide bonuses but allows flexibility in choosing compensation between salary and stock options. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, mental health support, 401(k) with employer match, stock option plans, disability coverage, health saving and flexible spending accounts, family-forming benefits, life and serious injury coverage, and paid leave programs. Full-time salaried employees have immediate access to flexible time off, while full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
