This opening is for an analyst to join the Network Pricing team in an intermediate-level analytics position. The role involves learning the fundamentals of drug pricing, client performance management, data flows, and the tools and systems used for this kind of work. You will collaborate closely with analysts and data science teams, while also partnering with departments such as Underwriting, Legal, Account Management, Operations, and Clinical.

What the job involves

You will support provider network contracting and cost management through financial modeling, network pricing analysis, and reporting. The role includes evaluating unit costs, reviewing contract values, assisting with contracting negotiations, and helping shape cost management strategies. You will also manage performance reporting, maintain financial models, and investigate claim adjudication to confirm members are charged correctly. Ad hoc analysis and other related tasks will also be part of the role.

Work arrangement

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in data analysis, healthcare pricing, or healthcare economics.
  • Intermediate experience with SQL or similar relational database tools.
  • Background in PBM or a wider healthcare industry setting.
