SK tes provides lifecycle services for technology assets on a global scale, supporting the commissioning, rollout, removal, and retirement of equipment. Its work spans data center hardware, IT devices, and EV batteries, with an emphasis on secure handling, responsible reuse, and sustainability. Its long-term goal is to safely and sustainably transform 1 billion kilograms of assets by 2030.
Role Overview
The Perth data center team is hiring entry-level labourers/assistants to support operations in a secure, modern environment. This role is suited to dependable people who want to begin a career in the data center or technology infrastructure space. The position may be offered on a full-time or part-time basis under a 12-month contract. Night shifts, weekend work, and overtime may be available.
Key Responsibilities
- Help move and install servers, racks, and other infrastructure equipment.
- Assist technicians with tools, materials, and general site tasks.
- Sort, label, and track inventory, including cabling and related materials.
- Carry out manual handling duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Handle packing waste and support e-waste disposal processes.
- Comply with all safety rules and site security procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Working at Heights certification.
- Personal protective equipment, including a safety jacket, safety shoes, helmet, and gloves.
- Basic laptop is required.
- Ability to do physical work, including lifting up to 23 kg.
- Reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working as part of a team.
Additional Information
No previous data center experience is needed, as full training will be provided on the job. This is a strong entry point for candidates interested in telecommunications, infrastructure, or data center operations.
