Overview

Finstock, Inc. is looking for a meticulous Data Operations Analyst to join their remote United States-based team. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of various financial and market data used for analytics and AI-driven research platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise financial data pipelines, feeds, scheduled job executions, and operational monitoring dashboards.
  • Verify and reconcile multiple data types including market prices, company fundamentals, regulatory filings, corporate actions, economic indicators, news, and research metadata.
  • Detect and address missing, duplicate, outdated, or inconsistent data issues and lead efforts to find root causes.
  • Create and run SQL queries, utilize spreadsheets and scripting tools to analyze data quality problems.
  • Develop and maintain validation criteria, exception reporting, data glossaries, procedural documentation, and incident logs.
  • Assist with onboarding and quality testing for new data sources, vendor APIs, and third-party integrations.
  • Provide prompt and clear communication about data quality and availability to internal teams.
  • Monitor metrics related to data quality, incident frequency, resolution durations, and service level agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, security protocols, privacy policies, and confidentiality regulations regarding data usage.

Required Qualifications
