Demand Planning and Product Lifecycle Lead

Role Overview

This position entails managing forecast accuracy, demand planning, and product lifecycle stages from launch to discontinuation. The role focuses on aligning inventory levels with operational needs, spearheading the automation of demand planning in NetSuite, and orchestrating cross-functional projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee forecast and demand planning for all product categories
• Lead the automation of NetSuite Demand Planning system, targeting completion by Q3
• Support inventory management processes in alignment with demand forecasts
• Monitor inventory KPIs, evaluate forecast accuracy, and identify potential supply chain risks early
• Manage full lifecycle product strategies including introduction and phase-out plans
• Track and assess progress in product launches and retirement phases
• Coordinate ingredient transition projects from planning through execution
• Provide regular reports on product statuses, phase-outs, and inventories to Sales and Account Management teams
• Ensure compliance of Product Approval Playbooks prior to product rollout
• Collaborate with R&D, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Sales to optimize product introduction and transition steps
• Conduct weekly meetings, maintaining project trackers, timelines, and documentation

• Full automation of NetSuite Demand Planning by Q4
• Accuracy of demand forecasts
• Inventory turnover efficiency
• Management of excess and obsolete inventory
• Timely execution of product launches and retirements
• Successful ingredient transition implementation
• Accurate and timely updates provided to Sales and Account teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain, demand planning, inventory control, or sourcing/procurement
• At least 1 year managing U.S. or Asia supply chains, including supplier and logistics coordination
• Practical knowledge of syrup and puree production and mass manufacturing, specifically bag-in-box packaging and design
• Experience with ingredient application in beverage dispensing equipment
• Strong ability to coordinate across multiple time zones and international teams
• Proven success managing complex supply chain projects with cross-functional and cross-regional teams
• Proficiency with data analysis to inform process improvement efforts
• Thrives in a dynamic, fast-growing startup environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to mitigating supply chain risks
• Advanced negotiation, strategic planning, and communication skills; English fluency required, Mandarin bilingualism preferred but not mandatory
• Solid understanding of ERP systems operations and optimization, preferably NetSuite

Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, varies by location:

• San Francisco: $76000 to $93000 annually
• New York City: $77000 to $95000 annually
• New Jersey: $76000 to $93000 annually
