DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are collaborating with a rapidly growing, well-funded tech company based near Munich that develops a highly scalable cloud platform catering to enterprise clients. As the company expands following recent investment, they are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to advance and scale their cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage scalable cloud environments primarily on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Create and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines, container deployment strategies, and infrastructure as code.
• Enhance platform reliability, monitoring capabilities, security, and performance in production settings.
• Work closely with software developers to deploy cloud-native applications and integrate AI workloads into live environments.
• Promote automation initiatives and play an active role in architectural decisions to support platform scalability.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum nine years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Proficiency with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, as well as infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
• Experience working with CI/CD systems, Git version control, and modern observability and monitoring solutions.
• An interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning operations (MLOps), or ML infrastructure is beneficial though prior direct experience is not required.
• Fluency in German along with strong English communication capabilities is mandatory.

Offer and Working Conditions

• Salary package up to 120,000 euros per year.
