Electrical Engineer

Job Overview

We are recruiting a qualified Electrical Engineer tasked with managing the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance enhancement of electrical distribution systems and utility equipment to ensure seamless and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the functioning and regular upkeep of electrical distribution equipment including transformers, HT/LT panels, RMU panels, synchronization panels, and APFC panels.
• Implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies to maintain electrical assets.
• Diagnose electrical problems and apply effective solutions to reduce operational downtime.
• Monitor energy quality, efficiency levels, and consumption patterns within systems.
• Maintain compliance with electrical safety standards, ensure safe operations, and adhere to company protocols.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance, testing, and commissioning tasks.
• Keep up-to-date electrical schematics, maintenance logs, and other relevant technical documents.
• Assist in the installation, testing, and startup of new electrical systems and devices.
• Supervise and maintain facility utility systems such as AHUs, chillers, heaters, and associated control mechanisms.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections to uphold reliability and maximize operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience working in industrial plants, data centers, manufacturing facilities, or utility service environments.
• In-depth understanding of electrical distribution frameworks and utility machinery.
• Knowledgeable about electrical safety norms, lockout/tagout procedures, and statutory compliance.
• Strong analytical capabilities combined with effective troubleshooting and problem-solving aptitude.
