Role Overview

The Executive Director oversees all operational activities at the facility, including clinical services, strategy development to improve productivity, compliance, and profitability. This position also ensures alignment with contractual obligations, state licensing, and accreditation standards while contributing to direct care delivery when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and pursue yearly program goals aligned with the organization's vision.
  • Manage the facility efficiently, adhering to budget limits.
  • Guarantee services comply with or surpass regulatory standards.
  • Represent the facility publicly through community engagement and events.
  • Design and supervise the creation of new service lines and expansion plans meeting clinical and financial targets.

  • Interpret assessment data to guide treatment planning and priority setting.

  • Maintain adherence to ethical and behavioral standards.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline.
  • Completion of clinical supervisory training required to oversee mental health staff.
  • Minimum five years of administrative experience supervising mental health or counseling programs; behavioral health experience preferred.
  • Licenses preferred: LCSW, LMFT, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, or licensed Psychologist (PsyD/PhD).
