Facility Maintenance Technician

Join Mr. Handyman of E. Nashville & Hendersonville as a Facility Maintenance Technician based in Lizella, GA. This role involves handling a variety of home repair and maintenance projects with excellent customer care supported by a strong team and industry-leading systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing diverse maintenance and repair tasks for residential and commercial clients, with projects lasting from a few hours up to two days.
• Communicating clearly with customers to explain work needed and set realistic expectations on scope and costs.
• Ensuring outstanding service to build long-term customer relationships by following the proven Mr. Handyman process.
• Meeting performance standards including customer satisfaction surveys, revenue generation, accurate billing and payment collection, and maintaining a low rate of repeat repairs.

Candidate Profile

• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule.
• Strong customer communication skills to provide superior service, solicit reviews, and handle payments.
• Comfortable using technology and documenting work accurately as per company procedures.
• Strict adherence to safety and cleanliness including using personal protective equipment and protecting client property.

Minimum Qualifications

• Resident local to the area.
• At least 8 years of paid handyman experience.
• Owning necessary tools to perform handyman tasks.
• Insurable for driving company vehicles and able to pass background and driving record checks.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely at heights or overhead for extended times.
• Professional appearance and care of company van supplied for work.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in at least three areas such as carpentry, bathroom and kitchen improvements, painting, drywall repairs, general plumbing and electrical (where legal), floor installation and refurbishing, building codes, and commercial systems.
