Fire Executive - Chief Fire Officer (Steady State)

Job Overview

The role is dedicated to managing fire station operations and ensuring the readiness of emergency vehicles and firefighting equipment. The objective is to support fire safety incident control and mitigation in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to fire safety policies, standard operating procedures, and integrity programs to guarantee exceptional fire safety services.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends to facilitate ongoing improvements in systems and processes.
• Lead incident command and execute control techniques during emergencies, actively engaging in firefighting and rescue missions.
• Assist in investigating fire safety incidents, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing preventive action plans.
• Conduct routine inspection, testing, and maintenance of all firefighting equipment to ensure peak functionality and promptly report anomalies.
• Monitor and manage the availability and reliability of firefighting vehicles, equipment, and communication systems to ensure readiness at all times.
• Coordinate emergency responses including participation in regular fire drills to maintain high preparedness levels.
• Enforce compliance with fire safety standards and support implementation of corrective measures to reduce instances of non-compliance.
• Maintain detailed records such as logbooks and occurrence books to demonstrate adherence to fire safety regulations.

Educational Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; science stream preferred.
• Certification as a Fireman is mandatory.

Experience Requirements

• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in a fire safety role.
