Role Overview
As a member of the founding engineering team for a new hyper-growth AI unit, you will create AI agents and workflows tailored specifically for insurance applications. Your contributions will enable insurance professionals to operate at significantly higher speeds and efficiency. This position offers a dynamic environment with substantial impact potential in an untapped technological domain.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Develop full-stack software solutions, working across various languages and platforms.
- Utilize modern AI technologies including large language models (LLMs), vision-language models (VLMs), automatic speech recognition/text-to-speech (ASR/TTS), vector databases, orchestration systems, and evaluation frameworks.
- Balance engineering trade-offs concerning latency, cost, reliability, and safety pragmatically.
- Engage in complex problem-solving by mapping intricate customer workflows and delivering custom end-to-end deployments.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product, Go-to-Market, Design, Marketing, and directly with end users.
- Operate autonomously and adapt quickly within a fast-paced and ambiguous startup setting.

Compensation
