Job Overview
At The Home Depot in Beaumont, CA, Freight/Receiving Associates play a vital role in ensuring the store is consistently stocked and prepared for customer business each day. This position involves receiving incoming shipments, unloading trucks, and transporting materials throughout the store to designated areas.
Primary Responsibilities
- Unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
- Distribute merchandise from the receiving dock to various departments within the store.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, where required, to facilitate material movement.
- Maintain accurate inventory by performing activities critical to stock availability and proper pricing.
- Engage directly with customers when necessary to provide exceptional service and assist with inquiries.
