Role Overview

We are looking for a warm and motivated individual to join our award-winning team at Rivermere Care Home as a Housekeeping Assistant. In this role, you will work collaboratively to uphold cleanliness and laundry standards within the home, following set procedures to ensure hotel-quality service for all residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties as outlined by the daily worksheet to maintain a spotless environment.
• Understand cleaning needs specific to various surfaces and coverings, applying appropriate materials and techniques.
• Maintain a high standard of presentation and upkeep for all areas within the care home.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect, safeguarding their personal space and belongings at all times.

Candidate Profile

• Exhibit Avery Healthcare's values of care, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability in daily activities.
• Possess knowledge of Health and Safety protocols including Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
• Have experience in managing laundry services in public or care settings.
• Demonstrate compassion and dedication to delivering superior housekeeping and laundry services to residents.
• Show flexibility and adaptability, able to take on varied responsibilities as needed on short notice.

Additional Information

• This position requires a DBS Disclosure check, which will be funded by Avery Healthcare.
• Applicants must provide proof of eligibility to work within the UK.
