About the Role

As an HR Training Specialist at Simmons Bank, you will be pivotal in managing and supporting the organization's learning and development efforts. This position involves overseeing the Learning Management System (LMS), coordinating training assignments, ensuring compliance reporting, and facilitating communication to guarantee timely completion of required training.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer the LMS including user access, course assignments, and system configurations.
- Deploy and maintain third-party and custom learning content within the LMS.
- Coordinate mandatory annual training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and business standards.
- Oversee onboarding learning journeys by ensuring associates complete assigned training and receive relevant communications.
- Maintain and organize HR Learning instructor-led and virtual training calendars, including class scheduling and logistics management.
- Provide responsive support through the designated training mailbox, addressing learner inquiries and resolving access or course difficulties.
- Prepare and distribute regular and ad hoc training reports for leadership, HR partners, compliance teams, and executives.
- Monitor training compliance through report generation and analysis of course completions, overdue training, and audit requirements.
- Manage automated notifications, reminders, escalations, and reporting to enhance compliance and learner engagement.
- Administer escalation procedures to address overdue training, notifying associates and relevant stakeholders as needed.
- Coordinate onsite training logistics, including badge administration and conference room access.
- Maintain accurate training records to support audit, regulatory, and reporting obligations.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance training operations and system efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with Learning Management System administration is preferred.
- Background in coordinating training or employee development, with an emphasis on compliance programs.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, especially using Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and excellent customer service orientation.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks accurately with attention to detail.
- Experience supporting training in regulated environments is advantageous.
- A drive for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or relevant field; or equivalent experience and education combination.
Technical Competencies
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with LMS administration and configuration.
