Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Implementation Associate is a vital team member responsible for managing and facilitating the onboarding of premier physicians into Privia’s high performance network, primarily across the VA, MD, DC, and CT markets, requiring approximately 70% travel. This role functions as the principal liaison, project manager, and trainer during provider launches.
- Collaborate closely to onboard providers into Privia Medical Group.
- Deliver project management, training, and ongoing support through the launch and activation of physician practices on electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management/billing platforms.
- Prepare practices for enduring success by implementing cost-effective and population health strategies.
- Coordinate between the practices and internal teams such as Finance, IT, Revenue Cycle, and Credentialing, utilizing project management methodologies.
- Conduct training sessions for physicians, providers, and staff on Privia processes, technologies, and EHR systems.
- Oversee detailed project plans and report progress to clientele and Privia leadership.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Identify and support regional and national initiatives to optimize workflows for care centers and internal departments.
- Assist in expanding strategic business areas like ancillary services and other Privia service lines when needed.
- Effectively lead change management and set appropriate client expectations.
- Develop and enforce ambitious timelines and address critical path issues.
- Accept willingness to travel overnight to client locations across new and established markets as Privia grows.
- Mentor peers within the Implementation team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- At least two years of experience in practice management or EHR implementation and training.
- Experience with technical project management in healthcare settings is advantageous.
- Previous work experience in hospital or physician office environments with knowledge of office workflows and processes.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 per year, excluding bonuses and benefits. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401(k) plans, paid time off, and wellness programs. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 10%. Final base pay will be determined based on experience, education, and location.
