Overview
Camara Interiors is seeking a motivated and energetic fresher to join as an Interior Site Supervisor within our interior fit-out team. This role involves assisting in on-site supervision of interior projects, managing coordination with various contractors, maintaining quality standards, and aiding in timely project completion. This position offers an excellent entry point for recent graduates aiming to develop their careers in interior project management and execution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support daily supervision of interior fit-out activities at project locations.
- Track and report work progress updates to the Project Manager.
- Verify that all work complies with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and skilled labor to facilitate smooth site operations.
- Inspect incoming materials at sites and keep accurate inventory records.
- Maintain quality across tasks including carpentry, painting, gypsum, flooring, electrical, plumbing, and final finishes.
- Prepare daily reports regarding site progress and keep comprehensive documentation.
- Detect and communicate site challenges or delays to senior team members promptly.
- Enforce safety protocols among workers and ensure the site remains clean and organized.
- Assist in project handover procedures by supporting snagging and issue rectification processes.
Candidate Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree holder in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Previous internships or training in interior-related projects are advantageous.
Essential Skills
- Basic knowledge of interior fit-out operations and ability to read construction drawings.
- Eagerness to learn and work on construction sites.
- Effective communication and coordination capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in basic MS Office applications; familiarity with AutoCAD is beneficial.
