Key Responsibilities

Design and build high-quality iOS apps primarily using Swift, and Objective-C when needed.
Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver top-notch features.
Create seamless and secure mobile experiences by integrating APIs and backend services, ensuring strong performance and reliability.
Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to best industry practices.
Engage in code reviews and contribute towards continuous improvement of coding standards and practices.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and issues in production and test environments.
Ensure mobile app compliance with security, regulatory, and financial standards.
Support CI/CD pipelines and implement automated testing strategies.

Candidate Profile

Demonstrable experience in iOS development or mobile engineering roles.
Proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C.
Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, and Combine.
Deep understanding of mobile architectural patterns including MVC, MVVM, and VIPER.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON payloads.
Awareness of secure coding practices, especially relevant to financial or regulated environments.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD tools, and Git version control.
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as XCTest.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Must hold valid New Zealand work authorization as per security requirements.
