About the Role
We are recruiting an IT Project Coordinator for a client, preferably with experience in telecommunications or IT networking. The workweek runs Sunday to Thursday from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM; applicants must confirm availability during these hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage work orders by receiving, inputting, and processing requests from clients and internal teams.
- Coordinate recruitment and deployment of field personnel to meet project timelines and maintain profitability.
- Assign field partners to deliver technology services efficiently and promptly per client requirements.
- Conduct pre-service calls and ensure field teams are punctual and prepared.
- Handle client communications, providing updates on project progress through calls, emails, and meetings.
- Collaborate with internal departments to sustain teamwork and meet client goals.
- Oversee procurement and logistics for materials and equipment essential to service events.
- Utilize systems like SharePoint, Excel, and ticketing tools to log activities and track project statuses.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Manage the receipt and distribution of project deliverables.
- Respond to NOC tickets and assist with Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting of onsite device issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, along with strong interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors, colleagues, and clients.
- Capable of negotiating effectively and managing multiple projects simultaneously with great attention to detail.
- Experience reading and interpreting Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Strong time management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to understand instructions in various formats such as written, oral, or diagrams.
- Clear grasp of project deadlines, scopes, and life cycle management.
- Experience working both independently and collaboratively within teams.
- Solid understanding of budgets and finance related to projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, or databases is advantageous.
- Intermediate technical knowledge in IT and telecommunications, including cabling, network device installation/configuration, and basic networking concepts.
- Basic understanding of network devices such as access points, routers, switches, and modems.
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in technical roles, project coordination, or dispatching.
Work Schedule
The position operates from Sunday to Thursday, 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Candidates should confirm their ability to work these hours before applying.
