Position Summary
We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join a prominent independent media agency in London. This full-time position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring presence in the office three days per week. The role is ideal for graduates or early-career professionals eager to advance their technical data skills within an encouraging analytics team.
Key Responsibilities
- Create reports and dashboards that effectively track campaign outcomes and overall business performance.
- Consolidate and validate data from diverse sources to guarantee accuracy in reporting.
- Detect patterns, trends, and potential opportunities by analyzing complex datasets.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of dashboards and Business Intelligence systems.
- Support ongoing analytical projects including research and reporting assignments.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to gather and understand their data and reporting needs.
- Enhance reporting workflows and ensure high data integrity.
- Continuously learn emerging technologies and analytical methods to bolster your professional growth.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related analytical field.
- Proficient with Excel functions, particularly Pivot Tables and lookup formulas (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
- Experience with Power BI is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, Tableau, or Looker Studio is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical thinking with robust problem-solving capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Inquisitive and proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
- Effective communication skills for clearly presenting data insights.
