About Boskalis and the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Implement environmental monitoring and management plans aimed at minimizing environmental impacts associated with projects.
- Support with technical advisory related to environmental policies and standards to ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and specific environmental requirements.
- Perform research and technical audits to evaluate environmental impacts, including data analysis, quality control, and conducting site inspections for monitoring instruments.
- Coordinate with scientists, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to design and maintain environmental strategies, documenting all plans, protocols, permits, and standard operating procedures meticulously.
- Prepare requests for quotations for environmental monitoring activities, evaluate incoming proposals from subcontractors, and assist in environmental risk assessments during construction phases.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Marine Studies, Geography, or a closely related discipline.
- Has between 0 and 3 years of relevant experience in environmental monitoring or management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with CAD and GIS software is preferred. Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is considered an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for collaboration within an international environment.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; is proactive, self-motivated, and works well in teams.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced setting that requires coordination with various stakeholders; willing to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays as needed.
