Role Overview
If you possess solid technical know-how and enjoy assisting colleagues with IT-related issues, consider joining our team! We are a medium-sized IT service provider that values a friendly work environment, quick decision-making, and close cooperation at eye level. We are seeking reinforcement for our internal IT support team — the main point of contact for our staff.
As Junior IT Systemadministrator, you will serve as the primary contact within the company, ensuring that IT systems operate reliably and are used efficiently. Your responsibilities include handling routine support inquiries as well as more complex tasks in 1st and 2nd level support, working mainly within a modern Microsoft-based IT environment and contributing actively to the continuous improvement of our internal IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the central contact point for all internal IT queries including analysis, prioritization, and resolution of faults and service requests within 1st and 2nd level support.
- Provide competent assistance to employees on-site, by phone, and remotely; manage IT onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Administer and maintain the Microsoft-based system landscape, especially Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Mobile Device Management (for iOS & Android).
- Ensure fully operational workstations including procurement and setup of hardware like notebooks, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Carefully document all activities in the ticketing system and maintain and expand the internal knowledge base.
- Analyze recurring issues and participate actively in developing sustainable solutions and collaborate closely with the team.
- Independently contribute to and take partial responsibility in internal IT projects, rollouts, and technical updates.
Qualifications
- Completed IT vocational training (e.g., specialist in system integration) or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in 1st and 2nd level support, preferably within internal IT environments.
- Good command of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 Office products, and Windows servers.
- Structured, autonomous, and solution-driven approach to work.
- Strong service orientation and teamwork skills.
