Junior/Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate junior to mid-level full-stack developer who enjoys programming and is motivated to expand their skills. You will contribute to multiple projects under the guidance of a seasoned senior developer and have opportunities to engage in technical planning and project estimations.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript including modern ES features, Promises, and async functions
• Thorough understanding of HTML and (S)CSS
• Approximately one year of frontend development experience using a major framework (for mid-level candidates)
• Roughly one year of backend development experience (mid-level candidates)
• Effective communication skills in both Hungarian and English
• A problem-solving mindset and the drive to embrace challenges

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts
• Solid skills in writing efficient SQL queries
• Experience with frontend frameworks other than Angular
• An appreciation for UI aesthetics and basic UX principles
• Familiarity with Python or Java programming languages

Working Methodology and Tools

• Agile and lean development practices
• Use of GitHub for version control and project management through GitHub issues and milestones
• Backend development with NodeJS utilizing NestJS or Express frameworks
• Frontend development with Angular and RxJS
• Unit testing with Jest and end-to-end testing using Cypress
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment configured through GitHub Actions
• Deployment of smaller projects on Heroku and larger projects on Microsoft Azure
