About the Role
Join us as a Kitchen Assistant where your main responsibility will be preparing the ingredients essential for our popular salad bowls. We provide comprehensive training and outline a clear career progression within a performance-driven culture.
Skills and Experience Required
- Prior experience in industrial or restaurant kitchen environments
- A genuine enthusiasm for food preparation and kitchen operations
- Strong knowledge and adherence to food safety standards and practices
- Personal qualities aligned with FISHBOWL's values: self-driven, positive attitude, service-minded, adaptable, and possessing strong integrity
Key Duties
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen assistants, supervisors, and managers to produce superior quality products
- Assist with ingredient preparation tasks
- Operate advanced processing machinery
- Maintain sufficient inventory by conducting regular stock counts
- Ensure compliance with food quality, safety, and sanitation procedures daily
- Exemplify and support FISHBOWL’s culture and people standards

Recruitment Process
- Initial brief phone screening by recruitment team (10–15 minutes)
- An in-person practical trial within the central kitchen (approximately 1 hour)
- If successful, a formal job offer followed by onboarding
