About the Role

Join Amrize as a Laborer at the manufacturing facility in Theodore, AL, and contribute to important projects that build North America. This role involves various responsibilities centered around the cleaning and maintenance of the cement plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as designated.
• Conduct inspections and maintain checklists for assigned work areas.
• Operate small to mid-sized mobile machinery such as skid steers, sweepers, water trucks, and vac-trucks.
• Provide support by filling vacancies in different sections of the plant as needed.
• Adhere to and promote health, safety, and environmental protocols across all workplaces, embodying a culture of safety.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold a High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
• High safety awareness and compliance with protective measures.
• Desirable: Basic understanding of cement production processes.
• Compliance with safety standards including the proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) like respirators. Clean-shaven condition required where respirator seal contacts the face to pass fit tests.
• Basic computer proficiency.
