About the Role
Parsons is seeking a Landscape Intern to support its landscape architecture work across public realm, roadway, park, planning, and infrastructure assignments in Doha. This position offers exposure to a collaborative environment focused on creativity, growth, and high-quality design delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to softscape and hardscape layouts, planting plans, irrigation layouts, grading plans, and supporting graphics.
- Support landscape architectural studies by helping develop design ideas, defining design criteria, and preparing related reports.
- Assist in producing design outputs such as presentation boards, renderings, 3D models, and animation materials.
Required Qualifications
- You should be a student of Landscape Architecture or enrolled in a closely related program.
- Strong hand-drawing and visual communication ability, along with a self-driven and proactive approach to daily work, are important.
- Capability to take ownership of assigned tasks and show initiative in completing them.
- Working proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
- Hands-on ability with AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Working knowledge of Land F/X, Lumion, and Illustrator.
Preferred Background
- Good time management skills, with the ability to organize priorities and meet deadlines.
- A genuine interest in building a career in engineering and consulting.
- Exposure to design workflows and documentation from study-related or previous internship experience.
- Experience using Adobe Acrobat to review and annotate drawings and documents is a plus.
