Lead Quality Assurance Manager

Your Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's entire Quality Management system, acting as the main contact for departments, development teams, external partners, and management to ensure comprehensive understanding and consistent implementation of quality standards across the organization.
• Guarantee a high-quality Demand-to-Delivery process by maintaining a holistic view of the lifecycle to ensure requirements are complete, testable, and traceable, with seamless linkage between requirements, test cases, defects, and approvals.
• Manage external QA partners effectively to ensure top-notch testing quality, appropriate allocation of testing resources, and compliance with agreed quality, service, and performance benchmarks.
• Develop and continuously improve the test strategy and KPI-driven quality management by refining test standards, methodologies, and quality gates while establishing transparent quality metrics and initiating actions to enhance quality and optimize processes.
• Identify and mitigate quality risks early through structured analysis, implementing appropriate countermeasures, and evolving processes, standards, and governance frameworks to steadily improve the quality of IT and telecommunications solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in Quality Management, Test Management, Delivery Management, or similar leadership roles within IT environments.
• Strong expertise in managing external service providers and partners, establishing robust governance structures, and handling contract and performance management for IT service providers.
• Proven experience in designing and advancing KPI-based quality and performance management systems.
• Solid understanding of software development processes, testing methods, and both traditional and agile approaches, including requirements, defect, release, and test management.
• Excellent analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-focused working style.
• Strong communication and facilitation abilities, confident stakeholder management, and aptitude for coordinating diverse interests to achieve sustainable decisions.
• Fluency in both German and English language skills.
