TrinkJello is among the fastest-expanding supplement brands within the DACH region. Their editing team creates paid advertisements managing a considerable Meta advertising budget, ranging from high six-figure to seven-figure monthly expenditures.
Role Overview
The Editing Lead position entails full accountability for the company's entire editing department. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership; you will edit content yourself, hire and grow the editing team, implement and uphold quality standards, and refine related processes. Unlike typical management jobs filled with meetings, this role demands active editing and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Take complete responsibility for editing deliverables including turnaround time, quality, and ad cost efficiency.
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor video editors to build a competent team.
- Establish and preserve high-quality editing standards.
- Personally handle editing tasks, particularly during phases of onboarding new hires and team expansion.
- Develop and enhance workflows, standard operating procedures, briefing mechanisms, and feedback systems.
- Continuously seek and implement improvements within the editing process pipeline.
- Ensure all creative content meets established quality benchmarks prior to delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive professional background as a video editor.
- Prior leadership or managerial experience with video editing teams.
- Keen attention to quality assurance and control.
- Strong leadership skills and effective decision-making capabilities.
- Experience designing or optimizing editing workflows.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced performance marketing environment.
- Fluent or native German language proficiency.
- Residency within Germany is mandatory.
