Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) of LoanIQ system modules.
- Validate the entire loan lifecycle operations including deal setup, drawdowns, repayments, interest calculations, fees, amendments, and payoffs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and execute test cases that align with Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
- Document, track, and manage defects through defect management tools effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
- Participate actively in release cycles and validate production environments post-release.
- Provide support during System Integration Testing (SIT) and UAT phases.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven hands-on experience in testing Finastra LoanIQ applications.
- In-depth knowledge of Commercial Lending and Corporate Banking domains.
- Familiarity with loan lifecycle processes, syndication, interest computation, and fee handling.
- Proficiency with SQL for data validation purposes.
- Understanding and experience working within Agile methodologies.
- Experience with defect and project tracking tools such as JIRA or Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium or equivalent.
- Prior involvement in LoanIQ upgrade implementations or rollout projects.
- Exposure to Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and interface testing.
