Logistics & Execution Traineeship Program

Program overview

The ADM Logistics & Execution Trainee Program is designed to help you build a strong foundation in logistics, contract execution, and transportation through practical work in European locations. The program is intended for people who want to make a meaningful contribution and develop the skills needed to support complex nutrition and agriculture operations.

Your first year focuses on learning the fundamentals through hands-on responsibilities at one of ADM’s European sites. In the second year, you deepen those capabilities and take on greater ownership at another European location. Throughout the traineeship, your learning plan is balanced between business needs and your own development, and you will be guided by a mentor from the European logistics and execution team.

What you will learn

During the program, you will gain exposure to contract law, logistics, contract execution, risk management, transportation, production planning, and the financial impact of execution decisions. On completion of the traineeship, you should be ready to step into a future logistics or execution position within ADM’s European network.

Success profile

• A master’s or bachelor’s degree, ideally in Logistics, Economics, Business, Maritime Logistics/Transportation, or a similar field
• Strong interest in logistics and operational processes
• Motivation to achieve results, solid analytical ability, self-drive, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement
• Comfort with technology, strong teamwork and communication skills, numeracy, structured working style, accuracy, creative thinking, and resilience under pressure
• Excellent spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
• Willingness to travel and/or relocate within Europe
• Valid EU work authorization
