About the Property

Located centrally in Surfers Paradise, Mantra Towers of Chevron consist of three towers featuring one, two, and three-bedroom self-contained apartments, as well as a three-bedroom sub-penthouse. Role Purpose

The Maintenance Assistant serves as a versatile tradesperson, ready to tackle any repair, maintenance, painting, or improvement tasks that emerge. You are proactive in identifying issues early—preventing minor problems from escalating—and adept at using practical tools to keep the property in pristine condition.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure all rooms, communal areas, and amenities are maintained to a high standard.
• Work collaboratively within a diverse team, demonstrating both teamwork and independent initiative.
• Face and resolve challenging situations with innovative and effective solutions.
• Conduct maintenance jobs and preventative maintenance projects as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

• Physically capable with a proactive, driven attitude who persists until tasks are safely and professionally completed.
• Experience in general building maintenance including basic carpentry, plumbing, or electrical tasks; formal qualifications are not mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and effective communication skills with stakeholders ranging from General Managers to guests and contractors.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays when necessary.
