Manager - AI Advisor

About the Role

This position involves collaborating directly with the Secretary General as a key advisor and execution partner focusing on strategic AI initiatives across NPC and CGB organizations. The incumbent will engage senior leadership, business units, and delivery teams to uncover AI opportunities, craft tailored solutions, and ensure successful realization of AI projects.

We seek an experienced AI leader skilled in bridging strategic vision with practical implementation, demonstrating strong expertise in AI technologies, commercial acumen, and leadership. The role demands discretion, sound judgment, effective cross-functional leadership, and the ability to deliver impact-driven AI transformations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level AI advisory services alongside executive leadership, shaping AI strategies aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Identify organizational challenges and areas for AI-driven efficiency gains, service quality improvements, and operational growth.
• Create comprehensive AI transformation roadmaps reflecting emerging industry capabilities.
• Evaluate potential AI use cases across various corporate functions and prioritize based on value, feasibility, and implementation readiness.
• Develop thorough business cases including ROI calculations, resource needs, and risk assessments.
• Lead the architecture and design of AI solutions comprising data management, model development, workflow orchestration, and governance frameworks.
• Architect solutions deployed through cloud, hybrid, or on-premise setups incorporating GenAI, copilots, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), and agent-based automation.
• Recommend technology stacks and vendors tailored to business requirements.
• Translate approved AI projects into detailed execution plans, coordinating internal teams and external partners to ensure milestones are met.
• Oversee pilot programs, proof of concepts, deployments, and scaling efforts.
• Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain momentum.
• Support governance in responsible AI adoption, including risk management, controls, and security practices.
• Implement KPIs, dashboards, and other measurement tools to track AI initiative impact.
• Conduct workshops and leadership sessions to enhance internal AI skillsets and awareness.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree in Business Intelligence or related field.
• 7 or more years of experience in AI, digital transformation, consulting, or enterprise technology leadership roles.
• Proven expertise with AI, GenAI, analytics, and automation initiatives.
• Strong track record of collaborating with senior executives and delivering AI initiatives that produce measurable business results.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder groups and driving enterprise-wide AI adoption.

Technical and Behavioral Competencies

• Deep understanding of large language models (LLMs), retrieval augmented generation (RAG), AI copilots, agent technologies, analytics platforms, and automation techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, NVIDIA technologies, and modern AI ecosystems.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, API integrations, data platforms, and security considerations.
• Exhibits executive presence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates high levels of trustworthiness, discretion, and dependability.
• Commercially minded with disciplined delivery focus.
• Ability to work autonomously and maintain pace in dynamic environments.
• Balanced expertise operating between strategic advisory and hands-on execution roles.

Additional Information

Language proficiency in English is essential, with Arabic preferred. This role is based in Doha, Qatar, requiring on-site presence. The position demands leadership to establish clear AI roadmaps, prioritize opportunities, achieve tangible business improvements, and build sustainable AI capabilities internally.
