Managing Consultant - Endur Technical

About the Role

We are expanding our Endur practice in the UAE and are seeking experienced Managing Consultants specialized in Endur with deep knowledge in commodity or energy markets, trading, and risk management. The role involves leading Endur implementations by utilizing technical expertise in deal modeling, valuations, risk management, scheduling, invoicing, and accounting for commodities and energy. Successful project delivery will be ensured through consultancy and project management best practices, while also supporting the growth of our Energy and Commodities consulting division.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a technical authority on Endur throughout all phases of project delivery.
• Lead technical deployments including system configuration, upgrades, data migration, and custom enhancements.
• Architect scalable, maintainable, and robust Endur-based solutions aligned with client requirements and industry standards.
• Engage with clients to capture technical needs and lead change management efforts.
• Analyze existing workflows and systems to identify and implement improvements.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure engagement success and client satisfaction.
• Mentor junior consultants on Endur functionalities and energy trading risk management concepts.
• Provide functional and industry advice to align solutions with client goals.
• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders and set realistic expectations.
• Prepare solution and technical documentation; supervise quality of technical consultant deliverables.

Technical Skills and Expertise

• Proficient in Endur development/customization using JVS and/or OpenComponents (Java or .NET C#).
• Experienced in integrating Endur with external systems via Connex.
• Strong skills in Oracle and MS SQL Server database design, administration, optimization, and tuning.
• Hands-on development experience with .NET C# and/or Java for Endur-related custom modules.
• Thorough knowledge of Endur Gateways, Accelerators, and Grid design/configuration.
• Familiarity with key Endur modules and commodity/energy operational processes.
• Capability to configure Endur workflows and business processes to client specifications.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, DevOps practices, and GitHub for project management and deployment.
• Understanding of cloud platforms including AWS and Azure; knowledge of ION Cloud and IEM tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of test automation and environment management tools.
• Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, communication, multitasking, project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in fast-paced environments.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
• Minimum 7 years hands-on experience as a senior or lead Endur developer/technical specialist, familiar with version 19 and above.
• At least 10 years industry experience including over 3 years in consulting roles.
• Key contributor to a minimum of two substantial Endur implementations or upgrade projects across sectors such as Gas, Power, Renewables, LNG, Agriculture, or Crude and Refined Products.
• Extensive understanding of Endur functional areas and modules.
• Experience in thorough testing and quality assurance of Endur solutions.
• Successful collaboration in multicultural/global teams with flexibility for multiple time zones.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision within project teams.
• Willingness to travel to client sites for brief periods as necessary.
