Manufacturing Process Engineer A320 FAL

Role Overview

Orbital Critical Systems, part of the CAF Group, is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer for the A320 final assembly line to join its on-site teams in Germany. The company works in safety-critical software and engineering for aviation, defense, and transport.

Work Location

This role is based on site in Germany, with assignments that may include Hamburg, Finkenwerder, Bremen, and additional locations across the country.

Compensation and Contract

The offered salary range is €50,000 to €65,000. The position comes with a permanent German employment contract and is tied to long-term projects.

The employer provides help with housing searches and German language courses, along with full relocation assistance and administrative support. In the first year, the company will also handle the employee's German tax return.

Responsibilities

• Design and define manufacturing engineering processes.
• Contribute to co-design and co-industrialization activities.
• Prepare time calculations at the operation level.
• Plan the technical sequence of production activities.
• Specify tools, jigs, fixtures, and other production equipment.
• Support production start-up, first installation, and manufacturing readiness.

Requirements

• A degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field is required.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Python, SQL, and Catia V5 is expected.
• English proficiency at B2/B1 level is required.
• German proficiency at B2/C1 level is required.
• Applicants must hold EU citizenship.
