Role Summary
This part-time hybrid position based in Singapore focuses on contributing to feminist-informed evaluations of national policies and current affairs. The role encompasses conducting research, creating briefs or articles, assisting advocacy efforts, and preparing educational or public engagement content. It requires physical attendance at meetings or events as necessary, combined with the flexibility to perform writing, coordination, and online teamwork from home. Collaboration with team members and partners to ensure alignment with Article 35's objective and standards is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Proven knowledge of feminist theory, gender equity, and intersectional social justice frameworks.
- Strong skills in analysis and research, with the capability to synthesize data on public policies and national concerns.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, with emphasis on clarity, conciseness, and inclusiveness.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently within a part-time schedule, while maintaining good teamwork.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, utilizing digital collaboration tools, and engaging respectfully with varied stakeholders.
- Educational background in social sciences, public policy, gender studies, law, or related disciplines is beneficial.
- Experience in advocacy, civil society, or community participation within Singapore is advantageous but not compulsory.
