About the Company
The Outfit Curator is a personal styling and color analysis business with teams in Miami and New York. The company supports clients in finding the colors, cuts, and silhouettes that work best for them through services such as color analysis, body analysis, face analysis, and personal styling.
Role Overview
This part-time position is for a highly organized and creative Marketing & Operations Coordinator who can handle a variety of responsibilities in a growing fashion-focused business. The role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys social media, marketing, fashion, and entrepreneurship, and wants room to grow with the company.
Work Arrangement
- Part-time role
- Hybrid schedule with in-office availability required at the Wynwood office 2 to 3 days each week
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required
- Local travel may be needed for meetings, appointments, and events
Marketing and Social Media
- Plan and organize content across social channels
- Create, edit, film, and publish short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, and similar platforms
- Produce visuals and promotional materials in Canva
- Keep the content calendar updated and consistent
- Track social media trends and contribute fresh content ideas
- Support paid promotions and advertising efforts
Client Experience
- Handle client emails and inquiries with professionalism and speed
- Help manage appointment scheduling and follow-up messages
- Contribute to a polished client experience before, during, and after appointments
Partnerships and Business Development
- Research and contact potential partners such as salons, boutiques, retailers, beauty brands, and other aligned businesses
- Identify influencers and creators for possible collaborations
- Help build and maintain brand partnerships
Operations and Administration
- Maintain a tidy, organized office and keep supplies stocked
- Track inventory levels for products and supplies
- Arrange replenishment and submit orders when necessary
- Stay in regular communication with the warehouse about orders, fulfillment, and inventory
- Inspect incoming products for accuracy and quality
- Support day-to-day administrative and operational needs
Events
- Assist with planning and coordination of events, pop-ups, and brand activations
- Support logistics before, during, and after events
- Occasionally represent The Outfit Curator at events
Qualifications
- Strong written and spoken English skills
- Legally permitted to work in the United States
- Very organized, detail-focused, and proactive
- Able to juggle several tasks and projects at once
- Clear and effective communicator
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Interested in fashion, beauty, styling, and social media
- Creative with a good eye for visuals
- Dependable, professional, and open to learning
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Video editing ability for Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Working knowledge of Canva
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and social media tools
- Basic photography and videography skills
- Experience using Google Workspace
- Background in customer service, marketing, or administration is an advantage
Growth and Training
This role includes meaningful growth potential within the company. The selected candidate will receive in-house training in professional color analysis and personal styling. With experience, there may be an opportunity to move into a Color Analyst and Stylist role and begin working directly with clients. The position may also include travel for company projects and events in cities such as New York and Los Angeles.
