Role Overview
H&H is seeking a Marketing / Proposal Coordinator to join a busy, collaborative team. This is a broad marketing role with strong involvement in proposal production, business development support, and related coordination work. The opportunity is available across multiple H&H office locations.
Key Responsibilities
You will help manage proposal development from start to finish, support local and major pursuits, and keep marketing materials organized and current. The role also includes tracking opportunities, maintaining databases, and assisting with presentations and prequalification submissions.
Proposal Coordination
- Take ownership of assigned proposal production and coordination tasks.
- Create and maintain proposal timelines along with compliance tracking tools.
- Run local proposal kickoff, review, and debrief meetings.
- Support major pursuits, including large national opportunities.
- Shape targeted messaging, differentiators, and win themes.
- Research staff backgrounds, company project history, and prior proposal content.
- Build and keep updated a repository of proposal-ready content and submission materials.
- Maintain regional proposal resources such as resumes and project summaries.
- Organize and standardize content used in presentations.
- Regularly check websites for newly released solicitations.
- Handle preparation and submission of prequalification packages.
Business Development Support
- Assist with client programs, industry participation, and other business development activities as needed.
- Track current and upcoming client solicitations within the assigned region.
- Maintain opportunity, client, and contact records in the company database (Vision).
Requirements
- An associate degree or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least 3 years of proposal development experience in the A/E/C sector is strongly preferred.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to work independently.
- A genuine interest in learning the engineering field and taking part in ongoing training or education.
- Comfort working in a highly collaborative environment with marketing colleagues from different backgrounds.
- Familiarity with SF330, SF255, and similar state or federal form requirements is preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and InDesign; knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay is based on experience. For applicants in NY, NJ, and CO, the annual salary range is $70,000 to $90,000. The company also offers a professional workplace, a competitive compensation package, benefits, and a 401(k) plan.
