Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Outboard Foreman to join our team at The Hinckley Company, located in Stuart, FL. This role requires hands-on expertise in sterndrive and outboard motor repair and maintenance, with a commitment to quality craftsmanship and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

Demonstrate a firm grasp of outboard and sterndrive engine repairs and upkeep.
Utilize electrical diagnostic tools and software effectively for troubleshooting.
Identify and resolve issues across various equipment types efficiently.
Pursue ongoing learning through OEM technical training and adhere to all service standards.
Communicate clearly and maintain attention to detail in all tasks.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

Candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and endure demanding tasks. The workplace is onsite, with exposure to varying weather conditions and elements such as dust, fumes, vibrations, noise, and chemicals. Prolonged standing or stooping is expected.

Certification and Pre-employment Criteria

Certification in Yamaha and Mercury (V12) engines is required.
Successful completion of a background check is mandatory prior to employment.
