Key Responsibilities

As an Optical Assistant, you will be central to delivering an excellent customer experience by helping individuals select their ideal eyewear, supporting their eye care requirements, and ensuring every visit to our store is memorable.

Candidate Profile

• You have a customer-first mindset with experience in retail, hospitality, or related fields, capable of delivering exceptional service
• Previous optical experience is advantageous but not mandatory—enthusiasm to learn is essential
• Bring energy, positivity, and a proactive attitude to the role
• Adapt well to a fast-paced and evolving work environment
• Excellent time management skills, balancing efficiency without sacrificing customer satisfaction
• Effective problem-solving abilities to assist customers in finding optimal solutions

• Availability for a permanent Monday shift from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility to cover Friday shifts on short notice and occasional shifts at other Auckland sites
• Dependable and adaptable, with full availability during peak periods and willingness to take on extra shifts when needed
