Part-Time Warehouse Associate

About the Role

The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring smooth merchandise flow by receiving, organizing, tracking, and distributing inventory. This position supports retail operations by maintaining a secure and efficient warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate merchandise inventory control.
• Conduct physical inventory counts as necessary.
• Keep the Warehouse Receiving log updated consistently.
• Receive shipments at the loading dock, inspect for damage, and verify against purchase orders.
• Assist in processing merchandise by matching it to purchase orders, counting, tagging, and labeling within the warehouse.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote safety.
• Efficiently distribute merchandise to retail locations in a timely manner.
• Relocate portable stands throughout the building as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Highly driven with strong motivation.
• Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
• High energy levels to endure long working hours.
• Strong communication skills and excellent customer service abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Capable of standing or walking for extended periods.
• Comfortable with climbing ladders and kneeling or stooping as needed.
• Skilled at multitasking and working collaboratively within a team.
• Flexible availability including weekends, day and night shifts.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, handle objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
• Visual acuity for close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Physical mobility needed to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Ability to adapt to variable work hours and locations.
