Pasting Operator I

As a Pasting Operator, you will be responsible for applying the correct paste to battery grids, forming plates essential to the performance of top-tier batteries. This role includes loading raw materials into machinery, manually transferring bear materials to and from the equipment, and conducting visual inspections to ensure both quality and quantity standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Apply specific paste to grids to develop plates that support battery charge retention.
• Load raw materials into machinery as per operational needs.
• Manually move bear materials onto and off machines as required.
• Assist operators in monitoring the efficiency and function of pasting machines.
• Conduct visual quality and quantity checks on produced plates.
• Record relevant production data using a data collection system.
• Operate forklifts to transport materials within the facility.

Job Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience of 2 to 3 years in manufacturing or plant operations with a dependable work history.
• Capability to work in environments involving extreme temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety, including wearing all necessary personal protective equipment such as a respirator.
• Must be clean-shaven to comply with safety gear requirements.
• Able to adhere to strict personal hygiene protocols, including mandatory on-site showering and designated lunch breaks.
• Physical strength to lift between 50 to 80 pounds and stamina to stand for extended periods.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
