Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Patient Coordinator for the Coatesville location. This front-office role supports patients, medical staff, and providers by managing scheduling, calls, and patient interactions to ensure smooth clinical operations. Prior experience in healthcare is essential.
Primary Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage incoming telephone calls, appointment scheduling, and web-based inquiries, ensuring a courteous and positive experience for each caller.
- Create and maintain a professional and welcoming environment to enhance patient care quality and support clinical providers.
- Anticipate provider needs and patient flow processes to aid clinical operations accurately.
- Handle inventory management and restock supplies and medical equipment as needed.
- Participate fully in all internal training sessions and pursue ongoing professional development.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Demonstrated healthcare experience is mandatory.
- Prior experience as a medical receptionist is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and patient scheduling software is advantageous.
- Computer proficiency required, including competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities are vital.
- Professionalism, reliability, and dedication are essential attributes.
- Experience within dermatology or a medical environment is desirable.
- Availability to work weekdays and rotating Saturdays during clinic hours (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM) is needed.
Work Schedule and Employment Details
- The role is part-time, requiring more than 30 hours per week.
- Typical workdays are Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday shifts as business needs dictate.
