Role Summary
The Patient Navigator partners closely with our Care and Nursing Teams to support patients throughout their family-building treatments. This role simplifies complex and often overwhelming processes, ensuring patients have the confidence and information needed for successful treatment cycles. The Navigator helps facilitate a smooth transition to nursing care for cycle monitoring and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed patient journey maps and treatment calendars tailored to individual treatment plans.
- Coordinate, monitor, and document completion of recommended tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Build trusting relationships and positive rapport with new patients from the outset.
- Communicate complex medical concepts in understandable, patient-friendly terms.
- Track patient adherence and readiness for treatments, ensuring compliance with protocols.
- Manage appointment scheduling to support seamless patient care coordination.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A strong passion for reproductive healthcare and patient advocacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.
Employment Details
This opportunity is a full-time, non-exempt, onsite position based in Oakland, CA, requiring flexibility for early shifts, rotational weekends, and holidays.
Compensation
Starting hourly pay ranges from $26 to $30, determined by relevant experience, skills, and educational credentials.
