Pool Plant Operator

Role overview

As a Pool Plant Operator, you will oversee the day-to-day running and upkeep of pool plant systems so that swimming pools remain clean, safe, and compliant with applicable rules. This role is located at The Cove Rotana Resort in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Run and maintain pool plant assets including pumps, filters, chlorination units, and chemical dosing systems.
• Check water chemistry regularly and make the necessary adjustments to maintain correct disinfection levels and pH balance.
• Inspect pool equipment and surrounding facilities on a routine basis, and quickly identify and fix issues when they arise.
• Maintain clear and accurate logs for water testing, chemical consumption, and maintenance work completed.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints connected to pool water quality and work toward timely resolution.
• Follow health, safety, and regulatory requirements consistently.
• Support pool cleaning and general maintenance tasks whenever required.

Candidate profile

Applicants should ideally have prior experience in pool plant operations or a closely related role. A solid understanding of pool plant machinery, water treatment, and chemical handling is important. The employer prefers candidates with certification in pool operation or water treatment. Strong attention to detail, practical troubleshooting ability, and the confidence to work alone or with a team are all essential. Good communication and customer-facing skills are also needed.
